Walking
Come, I will walk a little way with you. To walk, you need nothing but a good mood, time, and patience. Walking brings peace, keeps you occupied, makes you active, and helps you slowly lose weight. Do not underestimate walking, because it is also a teacher. Walking can be done almost anywhere and anytime. You slowly follow a route through the neighborhood or city and see and hear all kinds of things. You are lost in thought, and that is good. In this way, you walk kilometers without getting bored, and you become clearer in mind. Plus, the kilos come off. Walking in a forest, by the water, or in quiet places full of nature are the best places to be active. Nature creates peace and harmony. Birds are singing, the wind touches your face, perhaps you see animals roaming or meet special people from whom you can learn something. By walking in combination with a healthy and varied diet, you can lose weight in a healthy way. In this way, you slowly bring body and mind into balance. Start with half an hour of walking and gradually extend it. Listen to your body and do not take on too much, because you have time, so you can also practice patience. Walking gives peace while you are active and burning energy. And that is what you want. Transformation takes time. The Prophets (asws) walked a great deal during their sacred lives. Why? Partly because they (asws) were shepherds, which also carries knowledge, but also to remain active and to reflect on the great questions of life.
