Spiritually, you can become clearer when you fast and tighten the belt. In short, fasting has a positive effect on people, and especially for weight loss, fasting can help. Fasting combined with exercise works wonders. But be careful: at the beginning of your journey, you should be cautious with fasting, because your body needs to adjust to detoxification and withdrawal symptoms. Do not take on too much at once. It is wise to start fasting at a later stage, unless you already have experience with fasting — then you can simply continue. Your stomach may rumble a little from hunger. Note!!… a rumbling stomach is fine, but it can become addictive, so do not torment yourself — eat regularly. A hunger addiction can lead to an eating disorder. You need food to reach your ideal weight, and your digestion may change. At the beginning of your journey, you can eat normally, but avoid large portions. Keep your meals light and healthy. Stay active and try not to think too much about food — do something else to entertain yourself and stay busy. Sweet foods are allowed occasionally, so do not torment yourself. A cookie or pastry now and then is fine, and the body also needs a little sugar. There are healthy alternatives such as honey. In addition to sugars, the body also needs fats, so a little butter on your bread or an occasional snack or fatty food is fine. As long as you handle your diet with discipline and follow a steady line, a small deviation does not matter. Try to follow the seasons. Eat seasonal fruits and vegetables, because they contain important nutrients you need at that time. Drinking water is also important, because water cleanses and refreshes. It cleanses the outside of the body, but also the inside and the human spirit. You need fluids during your journey to your ideal weight. Water refreshes both body and mind.
