Cause

What is overweight? Overeating and gluttony — that is what it comes down to. A human being is like a bag that can be filled. When you put too much food into the bag, it becomes heavy and thick. So you must put less into the bag to avoid becoming overweight. The same applies to the human body: eat less and eat healthily. But there is more to it, and I will explain it to you, because this is your journey. The human body needs food to convert into energy. Energy to live, to let your body function, and also to keep it healthy. In some cultures, being overweight is considered an advantage and even a requirement — they find it beautiful. There are animals that store fat for lean times, and fat serves as insulation. You can see it as “an apple for a rainy day.” You are like a little bear, nothing to be ashamed of. In obesity, there is hidden knowledge. This knowledge can be used to solve your problem and to stay out of it, which is equally important. Your body is a machine of flesh and blood, and food fits well with that. When you eat too much, you put too much energy into your body. Your body converts that excess food into fat. And fat is like a battery — a storage point for energy. So being overweight is normal and human. There is nothing to be ashamed of, and because it is human, it also means you can work on this energy storage, this fat. The human body follows a slow and precise process. This process requires time and patience, but I will return to that later. Another cause is psychological in nature. The knowledge that comes with this will help you stay concentrated and focused on reaching your goal. Every person has their own reason for gluttony. Some reasons are emotions, lack of attention, childhood problems, adolescence, heartbreak, depression, prosperity, laziness, or a combination of different factors. Gluttony can also be addictive, like sweets and salty snacks. And that drags you further down. But you can work on this too. So look within yourself to find the cause of your excessive desire for food and work on it. Put your emotions aside, because now you have a goal for yourself: to reach and maintain a good and healthy body weight. Step out of the pit of emotions and get to work. Now that you know the causes of your problem, you can work on them more easily. Knowledge creates peace, space, and clarity. Now you know that you should not give up and not eat too much. That is one of the keys to solving your problem. Open the door and step into a new world where you can be happy.
